LightGuard is an Israeli technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of non-lethal tactical protection products for use by police, special ops and military units. Established in 2015, LightGuard customers include homeland security organizations and special police units in Israel and the U.S. All LightGuard products are based on a patented core technology.
Prof. Palti has founded and managed a number of successful hi-tech companies – among them Novocure, which manufactures and sells
cancer treatment devices in over 250 Medical Centers worldwide. In 2015, Novocure IPO’d in NASDAQ, with an initial valuation of about $2Bn. Professor Palti was the head of the Rappaport Institute for 12 years, the medical research arm of the prestigious Technion, as well as Associate Professor of Physiology at the University of Maryland’s School of Medicine. He is the author of more than 50 US patents and numerous scientific papers, and is Professor emeritus of Physiology & Biophysics at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Alon Palti has over 20 years of diversified business experience. He has been an active entrepreneur, with proven track record; Alon was
one of Novocure’s (NSDQ: NVCR) founders and served a part of its senior management team for 4 years.
Alon successfully held senior management positions in a major Israeli HMO and in several StartUp companies. Alon Palti holds an L.L.M. degree from Free Brussel University and a B.A. degree in Law and Economics from Haifa University.
